SONG LYRICS

I Wonder

Maybe My Breath (Could Be A Song)

Maybe My Breath (Could Be A Song)

Looking up tonight God

I see all those twinkling lights God

Spread out for all to see

You know each one by name God

And I can't even count them

And I wonder, ya I wonder, God do you see me

And I wonder, ya I wonder, God do you see me

Do you know my name God

Do you know my sin and shame God

Can I hide where you can't see

They say you've felt my pain God

Even hurts that I can't name God

And I wonder, ya I wonder, can you set me free

And I wonder, ya I wonder, can you set me free

If you lit my heart God

If you set me apart God

Would I want the world to see

They say I'd have a family

Would they love me like you do

Looking down tonight God

Can you see our twinkling lights God

Tell us Jesus what you see

Are we sparkling in the darkness

Can the world see our apartness

And I wonder, ya I wonder, do they see you in me

And I wonder, ya I wonder, do they see you in me

And I wonder, ya I wonder, Jesus what you see

And I wonder, ya I wonder, Jesus what you see

Maybe My Breath (Could Be A Song)

Maybe My Breath (Could Be A Song)

Maybe My Breath (Could Be A Song)

I just want to sit a while with you Lord

I just want to trust it’s all in your hands

The ground is shaking all around me

Feeling numb and it’s hard to breathe

But they all say just take a deep breath

They say you’re with me even in death

But Lord the truth is I’m gasping for air

I need reminding Lord that you care

I want to sing with all I am

But on the days I know I can’t

God in the silence you hear my prayer

In my tears God you’re always there

And if quiet praise is all I have left

I’ll worship you with every breath

And on the days I can barely hold on

Maybe my breath could be a song

I just want to sit a while with you Lord

I just want to trust it’s all in your hands

The ground is shaking all around me

Feeling numb and it’s hard to breathe

But they all say just take a deep breath

They say you’re with me even in death

But Lord the truth is I’m gasping for air

I need reminding Lord that you care

I want to sing with all I am

But on the days I know I can’t

God in the silence you hear my prayer

In my tears God you’re always there

And if quiet praise is all I have left

I’ll worship you with every breath

And on the days I can barely hold on

Maybe my breath could be a song

To My Knees I Will Fall

Maybe My Breath (Could Be A Song)

To My Knees I Will Fall

Lead me into your grace I will go

To your grace I will go

To your grace I will go

Hear me and I will lift up your name And I will lift up your name

And I will lift up your name

Save me and to my knees I will fall And to my knees I will fall

And to my knees I will fall

Your name, it is worthy of all praise

Your name, it is higher than The mountains

Your face, it is brighter than The sunshine

Your love, it is deeper than the oceans

Love me

And then your heart I will know,

And then your heart I will know

And then your heart I will know

Hold me onto your knee I will crawl, Onto your knee I will crawl

Onto your knee I will crawl

Save me and to my knees I will fall And to my knees I will fall

And to my knees I will fall

Lead me, and as I hear you I’ll follow

Love me and I’ll love those you died for

Hold me and I’ll hang onto your promise

Hear me and I’ll pray for your people

Break me and as I shatter I’ll call

And as I shatter I’ll call

And as I shatter I’ll call

Heal me, so I’m not broken inside

So I’m not broken inside

So I’m not broken inside

Save me and to my knees I will fall And to my knees I will fall

And to my knees I will fall

Save me and I’ll tell them of your power

Break me till I am humble before you

Oh God I need you more than my own breath

Jesus you breathe life into my heart

Love me and then your heart I will know, and then your heart I will know

And then your heart I will know

Holding Me

Little Girl's Heart

To My Knees I Will Fall

Is it true you're thinking of me right now

Holding me when I can’t feel you’re near

Even when my eyes can’t see you

Even when my ears can’t hear you

Even when I can’t feel you

Beside me, around me

Behind me, before me and within

Faithful, devoted, everlasting you’ll never let me go

Beside me, around me

Behind me, before me and within

Faithful, devoted, everlasting you’ll never let  me go

Faithful, devoted, everlasting you’ll never let me go

Can I really trust you’re who you say you are

Can I trust you’re where you said you'd always be

I can never praise you enough my God and King

Grateful for the peace I’ve found in you

Even when my eyes can’t see you

Even when my ears can’t hear you

Even when I can’t feel you

Beside me, around me

Behind me, before me and within

Faithful, devoted, everlasting you’ll never let me go

Beside me, around me

Behind me, before me and within

Faithful, devoted, everlasting you’ll never let me go

Faithful, devoted, everlasting you’ll never let me go

Now Jesus all I sing is your amazing grace

Thankful for the peace I’ve found in you, only you

I Am

Little Girl's Heart

Little Girl's Heart

I would write you a song

What can I play for a king?

I would buy you a car

But you own everything

How can you still love us

We’re tattered and torn?

We can’t understand

Why you’d chose to be born

Regrets, mistakes and hate

Fill our souls and our world…

But as this black hole sucks us down

You break in with light

And your glorious sound….

Child, grab my hand

I’ll lead you out to my promised land

I left my home in heaven to come to your aid

And I became a man so that you could be saved

And then you asked me, what is God like

I said, “I am”

You think I don’t know

All that’s breaking your heart

You think I can’t fix it

Won’t know where to start

But child, I have made you

I’ll carry your load

You don’t need to pay

For the laws that you broke

Regrets, mistakes and hate

Fill our souls and our world…

But as this black hole sucks us down

You break in with light

And your glorious sound….

Child, grab my hand

I’ll lead you out to my promised land

Left my home in heaven to come to your aid

I became a man so that you could be saved

Then you asked me, what is God like

I said, “I am”

I said, “I am”

I said, “I am”

Little Girl's Heart

Little Girl's Heart

Little Girl's Heart

Her tiny hand drew a heart upon the page

With lines she marked where bits came off along the way

Mommy’s eyes said she hurt too, reached for her hand

Why did they die, are you sure this is what God planned

She said, ‘Mom, how can I love

With this tiny piece that’s left

How can I dance

How can I play

Will my heart be whole again

Will colors all still look grey

Mom I don’t want to feel this way

I see it now, for us you died, in crimson red

All of this time when my heart broke, your heart it bled

Look at me now, how I sparkle and I glow

My heart’s made new just like freshly fallen snow

She said, ‘Mom, how can I love

With this tiny piece that’s left

How can I dance

How can I play

Will my heart be whole again

Will colors all still look grey

Mom I don’t want to feel this way

Jesus were you there,

And did you care for me back then

Jesus you were there

I know you cared for me back then

She said, ‘Mom, how can I love

With this tiny piece that’s left

How can I dance

How can I play

Will my heart be whole again

Will colors all still look grey

Mom I don’t want to feel this way

Mom I don’t want to feel this way

Mom I don’t want to feel this way
